The Hillgrove Hotel are delighted to introduce their brand new Knuttel Bistro Menu with many delicious new dishes and specials, including amazing 3 COURSE SPECIALS for €19.95 per person for Appetiser, Main Course and Dessert. (Available Monday - Thursday, excluding Bank hols). And amazing value for families, with a Kids Main Course, Dessert and Mineral for only €7.95 per child.

This menu is filled with delicious starters, such as Honey Goat's Cheese, Warm Tandoori Chicken Strips, Garlic Mushrooms, Oriental Spring Rolls, Prawn Cocktail, Cajun Wings and more. Choose from a wide variety of recession busting Main Courses;  the Hillgrove Traditional Irish All Day Breakfast with Two Grilled Back Bacon Rashers, Two Pork Sausages, Malone Black and White Pudding and a Free Range Fried Egg, served with Bread and Tea/Coffee for only €9.95 is sure to be a favourite!! And it's quality and value all round with Steaks from €15, Homemade Crispy Chicken Goujons and Choice of Dip for just €11.95 or Chicken Kiev only €11.95 both served with choice of Homemade Chips or Creamy Garlic Dauphinois Gratin.

They are introducing many new House Specials such as Hillgrove Traditional Irish Mixed Grill with 4oz Irish Sirloin Steak, Two Grilled Back Bacon Rashers, Two Pork Sausages, Malone Black and White Pudding, Grilled Tomato, Free Range Fried Egg, Mushrooms and Onion Rings served with Homemade Chips for an amazing €16.95!! Fresh Fillet of Cod coated in a light Beer Batter and served with Homemade Tartare Sauce, Mushy Peas & Homemade Chips €13.95.  Local Silverhill Aromatic Chinese Half Roast Duck, with a Plum & Chili Syrup served with Homemade Chips or Creamy Garlic Dauphinois Gratin €16.95 or delicious Thai Sweet Chili Tiger Prawns €15.

They have dropped the prices dramatically on many of the old favourites too, you can now enjoy the Hillgrove Prime Beef Burger & Chips for only €11.95.  Or the Chicken Fillet Burger with Jalapeno Relish, served in a Toasted Sesame Seed Bun and Homemade Chips or Creamy Garlic Dauphinois Gratin for €11.95. Indian Steak Sambo: Grilled Premium local Irish 8oz Sirloin Steak on Naan Bread topped with our own special secret Sauce and Mango Chutney, served with Homemade Chips or Creamy Garlic Dauphinois Gratin €17.95 or scale it down and have the mini low cal version for €12.95!

This menu has great options too for Vegetarians with choices such as Baked Goats Cheese Tartlet with caramelized Red Onion Marmalade, Balsamic Syrup and Salad and served with choice of Homemade Chips or Creamy Garlic Dauphinois Gratin for only €12.95 or the Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini with Parmesan Shavings and Fresh Tomato Concassé and a Basil Pesto served with Garlic Bread €12.95. Slimmer's Choices include Cajun Chicken Salad for €11.95, Freshly baked Darne of Atlantic Salmon with a rich Citrus & Herb Cream Velouté served with sides for €15.

Families will just love the variety and value on the new kiddies menu with main courses at €5 and desserts from €2.95. Local farmers may be interested to know that all Poultry is Guaranteed Irish and is sourced locally from Monaghan Farms. Their Beef is also Guaranteed Irish and the Duck is also from Monaghan.

This delectable new Bistro Menu is served daily from 2.30pm to 9pm.
