Hello, my name is Kimberly Madden-Treanor, I am the Banqueting Manager and I have worked in the Hillgrove Hotel for 7 years, you could say I am part of the furniture now!  I have always worked in Hospitality and have a degree in Hospitality Management from Manchester Metropolitan University. I have been in the industry nearly 20 years (giving my age away lol)  working in the UK for 12 years I came back home to Ireland 8 years ago, working in Belfast for a year before I came down to the fabulous Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan, which I have seen grow and progress amazingly in the time I have worked here.  I thoroughly enjoy running wedding,  I work very closely with my Bride & Grooms from the moment they walk though our doors the first time searching for the perfect venue for their Big Day right though all the meeting, call and e-mails til the day they step out of their bridal car, were I meet them with bubbly and walk them up the red carpet and introduce them to their waiting guest attending their wedding reception.  Though my eyes I see my Bride & Grooms grow from the original enquiry they had with me until the day they walk down the aisle.  For me this is very exciting as I get to know my Bride & Grooms and build a friendship with them.   It is so exciting waiting for the bride to step out of the car looking amazing and her Groom who is so happy.  The fun of my job is getting to know as many people as possible, chatting and make sure the guests attending the wedding are content, well feed and enjoying the day, with a little bit on banter on the way.  Each and every Bride & Groom are individual and I like to make sure that the wedding they imagine I create on the their day.  And even more exciting is seeing down the years the new additions to their family they add.

Linda joined the Hillgrove Team in 2012. I bring with me over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry within events, sales, food & beverage. I have over 10 years experience specialising  in weddings and other events.  I have a degree in Hospitality and Tourism management. What do I bring to the team.... meticulous attention to detail as well as a friendly, bubbly & personal approach to couples. My goal is to deliver an unforgettable wedding experience for all bride & grooms

My name is Monique Madden and I have been General Manager of the Hillgrove Hotel for 8 years. I have worked in the Wedding industry for over twenty years now and have co-ordinated Weddings in England, Germany and the USA. I always build up great trust with my Brides & Grooms. Due to my extensive experience, and my attention to detail, they know they can trust me and the Hotel to make their wedding day perfect. It takes a lot of pressure off the couple, to know they are in good hands, leaving them to organise other aspects of their Wedding Day. The Head Chef, Paul Dolan and I, run the kitchen on the day of a Wedding with military precision. Our entire team work as a team and that is what makes us all work so well. I first started in the hotel in December 2005, I waitressed my way through college and after getting my degree in Irish and Economics, I decided hospitality industry was where I wanted to be. I have gradually made my way up the ladder after learning from some amazing people around me and am now part of the wonderful wedding team at the Hillgrove Hotel.What I love most about this job is meeting couples who have recently got engaged and are so in love and excited about their new lives together and they come to us searching for that perfect wedding venue for their perfect day. I get to be part of this very special time in their lives and get to share in their excitement at this special time


Anoja Diaz - Wedding Team Hillgrove Hotel Leisure & Spa

I am Anoja N Diaz hailing from Colombo, Sri Lanka. I have been in hotel industry for the last 20 years.  Before joining the Hillgrove Hotel  I worked for Colombo Hilton International  as a Banqueting Co-Ordinator  organising various functions from weddings to conferences. I received my diploma in Hotel Management in Sri Lanka and soon after getting my diploma I had an opportunity to work with in various countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore. After 12 years in Hilton international , I decided to move to Ireland where I joined the "Majestically Magical" Hillgrove team .  I am proud to be  a part of the wedding team , assisting the banqueting managers to run fantastic weddings. 20 years later I still love what I do.  Mostly, I love the most wonderful people I meet every day  and also being able to provide best possible service.
