I
just want to drop you a quick email to express our thanks
to the Hillgrove Hotel for a lovely last minute stay on
Saturday night last. I booked a family room with you on
Friday 15th and explained that my sons communion was on
Saturday 16th and due to the weather we were forced to cancel
bouncy castle etc. Conor couldn't have been happier, he
said he had the best day ever. After bringing our family
for lunch we headed to Hillgrove and we had a while in the
pool and then he and his sister got to play Wii which was
just the best thing ever! Thank you, as usual the hotel
lived up to our expectations and the breakfast yesterday
morning was top class. We had our wedding reception with
yourselves April 1997 and have tried over the years to get
back and each time we are more than happy. Thank you.

Just
a little note to thank you and all the staff in the hotel.
We had a fabulous ‘sex and the city’ themed
weekend. Everything was amazing. It really surpassed any
preconceived ideas of the hotel or the event. The rooms
were beautiful and spacious. The staff were helpful and
courteous. The restaurant food was amazing. Martin and all
the restaurant staff did a great job and made us all feel
very welcome. Dearbhla in the hair salon did an outstanding
job on all the girls hair. On Sunday morning I found the
leisure facilities to be rejuvenating and relaxing, especially
the out door hot tub!! I would not hesitate in recommending
the hotel or the themed weekend to everyone I know.
I
can guarantee that I will return to the hotel again. Thank
you.

My
husband two children and I stayed at your hotel last Sunday,
Monday & Tuesday (15th, 16th & 17th Feb 09). We
would like to say a big thank you to you and all the staff
who made our stay so very pleasant. The receptionists were
exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing was too much
trouble for them, as were the housekeeping staff also. The
bar staff and restaurant staff were also very pleasant and
facilitating.
Usually we would not bother to comment on a stay but we
didn't want to let this stay pass without forwarding our
comments and congratulations to you and your staff. We will
return and have already highly recommended your hotel to
our friends and family. Regards and best wishes for the

I
just wanted to send you a message for helping make our spa
weekend so enjoyable!! The spa was fabulous, Eimear on reception
who checked us in was so friendly, we got our rooms as soon
as we arrived along with the champagne, chocs, robes and
slippers as promised, so thanks for that!!! Our meal in
the restaurant was first class. I work in the tourism industry
and travel all over the world and I have to say its great
to be able to say that Irish hotels still offer the best
hospitality! Thanks again and we hope to make it back next
year as we decided to make it an annual thing. Thanks again.

Thank
you once again for a fabulous stay in the Hotel. My friends
and I had great time. Compliments to the Staff that we
dealt with for their courteous and pleasant manner and
making our stay so enjoyable. Special word of mention
to the girls in the Spa area. Once again the Hillgrove
Hotel lived up to that "Magical Experience".
I
have no hesitation in recommending the Hillgrove Hotel
as a great place to stay. Hopefully, see you all again

feel after spending a day and night in your hotel (sat
22nd november 2008) I had the urge to write to you. Can
I say from my initial enquiry the help, advice and tips
I received from Eimear in reservations was second to none.
Her correspondence, booking and prompt response's were
excellent.
Myself and my 10 friends are all in agreement of the high
standard, service and efficiency we all received. Our
spa treatments were lovely and well arranged. Our meal
on the Saturday night was first class and an absolute
service with a smile from our host Martin.
I could continue on writing lists about our great spa
day and night from booking a taxi with your helpful receptionists
and entertainment recommendations from your bar staff
the list would be endless. You and your hotel need absolute
recognition for the efficient and excellent standard we
received.
Our weekend was wonderful and had not one flaw. Thanks
for making my 30th birthday spa break great.

recently stayed in your hotel for my sisters hen weekend
(17-19 Oct 08). I would like to extend my sincere thanks
to your hotel and all the staff. Everyone that came along
could not believe the high standard of service and friendliness
throughout the hotel. We will certainly be recommending
your hotel to friends and family in the future.
I am a store manager in retail and I honestly cannot compliment
your staff enough, they are little gems and extremely
rare in this day and age. In particular I would like to
thank Eimear on reception for all her help. I phoned and
emailed Eimear an awful lot with the changes to rooms
and a lot of other enquiries. She is a credit to your
hotel, she went above and beyond anyones expectations.
Nothing was too much trouble for her and she always was
there to help. Also a big thanks to the girls I dealt
with on reception during our stay, Catherine and Georgina.
They are so friendly and super efficient.
The bar staff were all extremely friendly and the food
is out of this world. We had a meal on the sat night of
our stay, this was fabulous and all the staff were brilliant.
There was one man in particular, Martin who was extremely
professional and courteous. He took great care of us,
he is also a credit to the hotel.
Your hotel is like a breath of fresh air. We are too quick
to complain about things nowadays and very slow to compliment
people who do a great job.
