Linda joined the Hillgrove Team in 2012. I bring with me over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry within events, sales, food & beverage. I have over 12 years experience specialising  in weddings and other events.  I have a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. What do I bring to the team.... meticulous attention to detail as well as a friendly, bubbly & personal approach to couples. My goal is to deliver an unforgettable wedding experience for all bride & grooms

  

Monique Madden –General Manager


My name is Monique Madden and I have been General Manager of the Hillgrove Hotel for 13 years. I have worked in the Wedding industry for over twenty years now and have co-ordinated Weddings in England, Germany and the USA. I always build up great trust with my Brides & Grooms. Due to my extensive experience, and my attention to detail, they know they can trust me and the Hotel to make their wedding day perfect. It takes a lot of pressure off the couple, to know they are in good hands, leaving them to organise other aspects of their Wedding Day. The Head Chef, Paul Dolan and I, run the kitchen on the day of a Wedding with military precision. Our entire team work as a team and that is what makes us all work so well. I am so proud of our product and I can guarantee every Bride & Groom the Wedding Day of their dreams. 
 

 Mary Quigley - Wedding Co-Ordinator

My name is Mary Quigley, I've worked in hospitality from a very young age, I always knew it was something I enjoyed. I've worked in the Hillgrove hotel from 2011. I previously studied a degree course in Culinary Arts in Cathal Brugha Street, DIT. After spending 2 years there I decided it wasn't the career I wanted to pursue. I continued with my work in the Hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my job being part of a amazing team in Knuttel Bistro, where colleagues quickly became great friends.

Over the years I have worked my way up in the Hotel thanks to the support of the people I work with, I now love Co hosting Weddings with our banqueting manager. The Wedding Team work tirelessly to ensure every detail of your Special day is amazing.  Being involved in the planning and overseeing such a Special Day really is such a rewarding job.  After recently getting engaged myself I know exactly what you are going through! It's not an easy task!! I'm very proud to say I've trusted my lovely colleagues with my own Special day, the food and service you find in this Hotel is hard to match.

I'm very proud to be part of such an amazing hotel and look forward to meeting all our new potential brides & grooms. Happy planning.

Nicola McGinnity – Wedding Team Hillgrove Hotel Leisure & Spa

I first started in the hotel in December 2005, I waitressed my way through college and after getting my degree in Irish and Economics, I decided hospitality industry was where I wanted to be. I have gradually made my way up the ladder after learning from some amazing people around me and am now part of the wonderful wedding team at the Hillgrove Hotel.What I love most about this job is meeting couples who have recently got engaged and are so in love and excited about their new lives together and they come to us searching for that perfect wedding venue for their perfect day. I get to be part of this very special time in their lives and get to share in their excitement at this special time.
