Hillgrove Hotel Terms and Conditions


All offers are correct at time of going to print. Offers are subject to availability and can be changed without notice at the Managers discretion.
Offers are not valid Bank Holiday Weekends or Christmas and New Years, unless otherwise stated.

In the case of a Booking Fee/Deposit, this is Non-Refundable, even in the event of a cancellation.

A valid credit card number is required for check in. If paying cash on arrival we also require a credit card for pre authorisation.

You will be asked for photograhic identification on check in.

When numbers drop on group bookings, price will have to be reviewed. On Murder Mystery, CSI and Faulty Towers Packages a minimum of 20 People is required.
Should these numbers drop, surcharges will apply.
If people request a specific room (i.e. a certain wing of Hotel or specific room number), there may be a charge of €10 per booking

We provide safes in every bedroom for your use.  However, we accept no responsibility for any belongings in bedrooms, safes or lockers or anywhere on our property.


The hotel reserves the right to charge a noise disturbance fee if compensation is given to other guests due to noise. You may also be asked to leave the property immediately and no refund will be given.



All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% smoke-free.  A €200 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.



You will be charged for any damage you make to Hotel property, including abuse of hotel linen, towels, carpets and  furniture, theft of hotel property, smoking in your room.  Charges will also apply for excess litter, e.g. excessive bottles etc, not purchased on the premises.


Cancellation Policy:

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required should you wish to alter or cancel your reservation. Failure to give 48 hours notice of cancellation will result in a cancellation charge equal to one nights stay.
Please note all deposits are non-refundable and non transferable. A non arrival without cancellation will automatically be charged the cost of the 1st nights stay. Group Cancellation deposits cannot be offset against others bills.



Please ensure to be in Spa 15 minutes prior to your appointment If you are late for your Spa appointment, the time will be deducted from your treatment.
Cancellation Policy for Lir Spa & Hair@Hillgrove: At least 72 hours notice should be given if you wish to alter or cancel your appointment. There is a 50% cancellation fee if the treatment is cancelled less than 72 hours prior to booking. If an appointment is not cancelled, or is cancelled on the day of the booking, 100% of the treatment price will be charged.

When booking a €40 Spa Special, please ensure to state this when booking, so you receive the discount.

Here at the Hillgrove Hotel, we pride ourselves in our customer care and standards of services and facilities. We are proud to state that we rarely receive complaints, however, when we do, we take them on board and try to rectify any problems. Our bedrooms are all furnished with comment cards.
